The 21 day fix is by far one of my favorite programs. Created by single mom, Autumn Calabrese, she breaks down the nutrition aspect of weight loss and living a healthy lifestyle into a simple to use, flexible system. The workouts are great too but it is truly the nutrition component that sets it apart from all other programs out there.
The 21 day fix comes with color coded portion control containers that act as measuring cups. Each container has a list of foods that are acceptable and if it fits then that’s how much you eat. For example, the red container is for protein. It can be filled with chicken, turkey, beef, salmon, tuna, tofu, 2 eggs, 4 egg whites, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, 2 slices of turkey bacon and more.
Through an easy to do calculation you and your coach can figure out exactly how many of each container will be on your meal plan throughout the day. This will be based off your goals and can even be tailored to those who don’t want to lose weight but just want to live a healthier lifestyle and can even be used for vegetarians as well. It is truly one of the easiest systems to follow and takes the guesswork out of clean eating. The program even allows for treats such as wine and cookies. When was the last time you had wine on your meal plan? When coupled with Shakeology daily people see even greater results.
The 21 day fix also comes with 7 different workout that are all 30 minutes long and can be done in the comfort of your own home with a couple sets of weights. The workouts can be modified to fit your current fitness level and is even great for someone just beginning or getting back into working out.
For the seasoned veteran who is already in fairly good shape but is ready to take it to the next level there is the 21 day fix EXTREME. These workouts are no joke and will get you shredded and push you past the plateau.

And here are my very own results! I started this program 3 weeks after having my second baby. I modified a lot of the workouts, lifted very light weights, and stuck to my nutrition 95%. Starting a program this soon after giving birth is not for everyone, and you should consult your doctor before starting any program. But personally, I had a very active pregnancy and an uncomplicated delivery. I listened to my body and was still able to breastfeed while doing this too.
